Bachelor in Paradise sweethearts Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile appear to still be in their honeymoon phase.

On Saturday, July 20, while attending Jill Zarin’s luxury luncheon at Southampton Inn in New York, the couple open up about their married life after having tied the knot in October 2022.

"You know what? It's really same old, same old," Pitt, 26, tells PEOPLE. "It's crazy to think that it's been three years since we got engaged."

"Married life is good and we're still in New York," she adds.

Amabile, 38, agrees: "Everything's good. It's very chill, which is good."

Pitt quips, "I think if married life is described as chill, it's a good thing."

Amabile adds, "Anything for a good cause and anything for my girl Jill."

The couple met on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired in August 2021. The reality show features former contestants from the Bachelor franchise returning for a second shot at love.

At the top of the season Amabile was doubtful about being back on the beach for a second time and debated going home. However, he changed his mind after he struck up a romance with Pitt.

"Starting to develop feelings for Serena does make me want to stay," he admitted in the premiere episode of that season.

The two got engaged in the season finale, with Amabile telling Pitt during the proposal, "It happened fast, faster than I thought, but at this point, I don't see myself not wanting to wake up with you by my side."
