Ree Drummond is embracing her role as a grandmother!

On Saturday, April 5, the Food Network star, 56, shared a sweet video of her granddaughter Sofia getting a taste of her glamorous life on TV. Ree's 27-year-old daughter Alex Drummond Scott welcomed Sofia with her husband Mauricio Scott on Dec. 18, 2024.

In the Instagram video, Ree showed Sofia, now 4 months old, sitting in a baby chair before panning over to reveal what she was watching on TV — one of her grandma’s shows. In the show, the cookbook author could be seen putting some jam on toasted bread.

In Ree's video, Sofia looked over at her grandma before looking back at the TV and paying attention to what was happening. She even broke into a smile at one point.

Ree wrote over the video — which was set to Wynonna Judd’s “I Just Drove By" — “Sofia watching ‘ol grandma on The Food Network.”

She jokingly captioned the Instagram post: “I don’t think Sofia liked my fig and prosciutto crostini this morning. (I wonder if she thinks I’m there?? 😭😭😭 I HOPE SO!!)."

Since Sofia’s birth in December, the Pioneer Woman star has been sharing frequent photo and video updates about her adventures as a new grandma. Last week, she posted a video of baby Sofia giggling in her bouncer as she sang to her and tickled her.

"When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones and confusion," the celebrity chef captioned the video, which was set to Glimz's song "Grateful Soul."

"I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven… I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift," Ree continued.

Alex and Mauricio announced Sofia's birth on Instagram a few days before Christmas, alongside a gallery of black-and-white photos of the couple with their tiny newborn.

"At 2:27 a.m. our perfect girl made her arrival a couple weeks early, just in time for Christmas! We are so in love and forever changed," they captioned their joint post at the time. "Thank you Lord."

Ree also celebrated the birth, writing on her website, "I'm saying that with as much objectivity as I can. But I'm not kidding... she is perfect. Like, if you looked up 'perfect' in Merriam-Webster, it would reference Sofia Scott, and maybe even show a photo of her. Although that would probably technically be an encyclopedia."
