• When she finally located him in one of the aisles, she started recording Logan’s sweet, yet hilarious, interaction with a stranger

Sierra Soole is used to her husband, Logan, taking his time while browsing at Nike, so when he wandered off, she knew he’d almost certainly be in the shoe section.

After searching for him, the 27-year-old eventually spotted him in one of the aisles, fully engaged in conversation with a man she didn’t recognize.

For a moment, she wondered if it was someone they knew, but the unfamiliar face told her otherwise.

“It wasn’t until I saw him picking shoes off the shelf for the stranger to try on that I realized what he was doing,” Sierra tells PEOPLE exclusively.

It turned out that the stranger had assumed Logan worked at Nike and had asked for his advice. Never being one to disappoint, Logan went along with it, helping the stranger find the perfect pair of sneakers.

“At first, I didn’t really process that he thought I worked there. I thought he just wanted my opinion,” Logan tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“I was just happy to help because I’ve been a sneakerhead my whole life and enjoy sharing the knowledge I have about shoes.”

Yet, as the conversation dragged on for almost 30 minutes, his wife couldn’t resist taking out her phone to capture the hilarious interaction, which she ended up sharing on TikTok in November 2025.

Trying to be as helpful as possible, Logan offered the man advice on the different styles and helped him try on the shoes.

“When he asked me if they had a different size, I said I wasn’t sure – let’s look,” Logan recalls.

Though he’d never taken his helpfulness quite this far in a store setting, he admits he never ended up telling the man that he didn’t actually work at Nike.

“I think I recommended a different type of shoe based on what he was looking for and said, ‘Let me know if I can help with anything else,’” the 29-year-old shares.

In hindsight, Sierra says she wasn’t shocked in the slightest – this was precisely the sort of thing she could see her husband doing.

“Logan is one of the nicest people I have ever met,” she shares, adding that he’s the kind of guy who stops to pick up litter, helps drivers stuck on the road and holds doors open for others even if it means waiting a little loger to get where he's going.

“He just loves helping people,” she emphasizes. “He also was a professional baseball player and knows a lot about Nike, so anywhere he can help, he does.”
