- His older sister, daughter and daughter’s boyfriend have been charged with tampering with evidence. The older sister is also charged with abuse of a corpse
The dismembered remains of a Philadelphia man were discovered stuffed in a suitcase and in trash bags.
The remains were identified as those of Vincent Good, 53, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said.
Liza Ridley, 53, was subsequently arrested and charged with murdering Good, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors also charged Ridley's older sister, Bernadette Ridley, Ridley's daughter, Liza Robinson, and Robinson's boyfriend, Gnaeus Daniels, with tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice. Bernadette is also charged with abuse of a corpse, as is Ridley.
Ridley allegedly confessed to shooting Good in the head, prosecutors said. It is not immediately clear if any of the defendants have entered a plea.
Prosecutors said Ridley acted as a caregiver for Good, who had part of his leg and arm amputated.
Good is believed to have been dead more than two weeks before his body was found.

NBC Philadelphia reported that a person searching for scrap metal found Good's torso in a suitcase and that police subsequently discovered more remains in trash bags.
After reports of the discovery emerged, prosecutors said a Lyft driver came forward to authorities to say she believed she may have given a ride to the person who transported the suitcase.
The Lyft driver reported that the suitcase had a foul smell, prosecutors said, adding that the driver took a picture of the rider, who appeared to be Ridley.
