Harry Styles fans grew worried after he choked on some water and fell to the ground while performing in London's record-breaking heat wave.

On Friday, June 26, the 32-year-old musician had just done one of his signature onstage moves at Wembley Stadium during the latest show in his 12-night Together, Together residency at the venue when something appeared to go wrong.

Just after doing his fan-favorite "whale" move, in which he spits water in a high, spout-like burst while performing concert closer "As It Was,” Styles appeared to choke on the remaining water in his mouth and fell to the ground.

Footage of the moment, which has been captured from numerous angles in videos shared by fans on social media, shows the musician collapsing on his back, after which he appeared to continue coughing.

While lying on the Wembley stage, Styles appeared to heave several times, raising a fist to cover his cough. He also rested his hands on his abdomen, which moved up and down dramatically as he seemingly tried to catch his breath.

After about 17 seconds, Styles got back up, seemingly in good spirits, before waving goodbye to the crowd.

The Harry's House musician appeared to recover from the moment, taking the stage at Wembley for his next show on Saturday, June 27, though fans continued to share concern in posts highlighting the incident.

“How come no one came and checked on him???” one user commented on a TikTok video of the moment. On another similar video, a top comment read, “Nobody ran to check on him 👀.”

“Serious or not, he does need to be careful though,” another fan pointed out, noting that it was “incredibly hot.”

Reps for Styles did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The back of the performer's shirt appeared to be wet with sweat during Friday's concert, which came as the U.K.'s record for the hottest day in June was broken for a third day in a row, the BBC reported, citing the Met Office, the U.K.'s national meteorological service.

Temperatures reached 37.3 degrees Celsius — more than 99 degrees Fahrenheit — in Suffolk on Friday, beating the 50-year-old record by more than a full degree, per the BBC. In London, meanwhile, temperatures peaked at 97 degrees Fahrenheit, according to AccuWeather.

As of Saturday, an extreme heat warning issued by the Met Office is still active in parts of east and southeast England, with officials warning that “adverse health effects are likely to be experienced by those vulnerable to extreme heat” and others.

“The wider population are likely to experience some adverse health effects including sunburn or heat exhaustion (dehydration, nausea, fatigue) and other heat related illnesses,” the Met Office notice warned.
